December 2018 Update from the Principal

Dear Parents, Students and Community Members,

The Season of Caring has begun!  A tradition at WOHS like no other has commenced and will lead all the way up to the holiday break.  Students from many organizations will lead, participate and execute a number of philanthropic endeavors as our student body displays a wonderful sense of community and giving.  We will share highlights and information about these events in the January Pipeline.

Students have started to look forward to next year by completing course planning activities recently.  Thanks to our counseling department for building a process that allows students be actively involved in their course planning.  Please be sure to talk to your child and discuss all of the options available at WOHS.  Underclassmen will be meeting individually with their counselors in the next months to select their courses for next year.

Lastly, there are so many great things happening at WOHS.  Make sure you take a few moments to read all of the newsworthy items in this month’s Panther Pipeline.  You will find information ranging from musical concerts, AP/IB information to athletics.  This is an easy way to learn more about what is going on at WO.

We have a few more weeks before break, and we intend on finishing strong.  After that, please enjoy your holiday break.

Thank you, and as always Go WO!

Mr. Reinecke
