GRCC Onsite Events

SENIOR PARENTS: Is your student planning on attending or considering Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC)? If so, they need to complete their accuplacer testing and their orientation.

Accuplacer testing is in place to set your student up for success and help colleges make accurate course placement decisions. By taking this test, your students skill level will determine what math and english courses they will take in college. Not every senior has to take this test, but most do. It is dependent on their SAT scores.

We will be hosting onsite accuplacer testing at West Ottawa on Thursday, March 5th. There will be two sessions to accommodate all Careerline Tech Center Students.

SESSION 1: 8am-11am

SESSION 2: 12pm-2:45pm

Your student can sign up for the test here: bit.ly/woaccuplacer

After accuplacer testing, students will be asked to participate in orientation. Orientation is where your student will work with academic advisors to schedule their classes. GRCC has some amazing opportunities for Lakeshore courses, but they are limited, so it is important that your student attends an early orientation if they would like the majority of their courses to be in the Holland area.

GRCC will host its onsite orientation event at West Ottawa on Wednesday, April 1st. Spots are extremely limited. Your student can sign up here: bit.ly/grccorientation
